Valentine's day have become so overrated these days that not celebrating it will give you such a sad, dark, and cold feeling deep down inside if you didn't do anything special that day.
Hence everyone is
thinking up what they should do on Valentine's Day way before the day even
come.
But, these are the things you SHOULD
NEVER DO!!
Number 1 :
Never give flowers or chocolate to the person you're interested in (Meaning
people you’re not already with)
Number 1 : Never give flowers or chocolate to the person you're interested in (Meaning people you’re not already with)
It is without doubt that you definitely
hope that the person that you are interested in knows that you are interested
in him or her. Thus, this is most likely the time that you feel that you must
do something to make it known. This is precisely the reason why you shouldn't do
anything.
Let’s be honest with ourselves, do you know this person well enough at all?? If you do not, then you’re just giving it a high possibility to go into a relationship that shouldn't start in the first place. Even if you do know the person well enough, because of your actions on Valentine’s Day, you might give the person such a shock that you lost all the chances of ever getting closer to the person. All things start slow, you have to inch in bit by bit, not just jump in with a huge surprise.

Number 2 : Never go on the first date with someone
While you wish not to be lonely on Valentine’s Day, therefore you’re must be desperately thinking who you should go out with on this really important day. You either pick this person that you have been liking for so long or a person you just find really attractive and don’t mind going out with. Either way, you probably start the relationship on the wrong foot, like mentioned before, you need time to know a person. If you do not know a person well and just start dating on Valentine’s, you’ll probably continue dating after that. Just like in any relationships that couples don’t really know each other well first, when they start knowing each other well, they wonder why are they even dating at all?? Then you’ll just be wasting your time..
Number 3 : Never give your first kiss
Your first kiss is definitely the most important thing you own besides your virginity. You probably have thoughts of losing it to someone you really love and will never want to part with. That is if you still have your first kiss, if you don’t, you would most likely agree with the rest of what you’re going to read. Most people think the first person they kiss is the person they want to spend the rest of their life with. But truth be told, 95% of the people in the world lose their first kiss to someone they regret ever losing their first kiss to. So why should you continue to think that you can be that 5% that kissed the right person?? It is 75% safer to just give your first kiss on your wedding day, the other 25% goes to people with marriage that just didn't turn out too well.
Number 4 : Never seal the deal
Valentine’s Day is just so sadly related to sex for the first time, what can represent your unquenchable love for someone besides making love on the day of love huh?? Giving your first time makes the occasion even more important and sacred huh?? Well, sadly, all these are just a sad fairy tale, there’s no happy ever after.
The only kind of sex for the first time is only ever going to happen on Valentine’s between couples that aren’t married to each other. If not, which married couple is ever going to wait till Valentine’s?? Unless, they are married on Valentine’s..
Just like the first kiss, while you innocently think that the person you give your first time to is going to love you forever or vice versa, that is just not going to happen unless this happens after marriage. Then this gives you 75% more confident that you won’t be giving your first time to the wrong person. If not, just like the first kiss, you will just be regretting after that, just that this is going to hurt more than the first kiss, this is your first time. Your one and only first time that you are never ever, ever, going to get it back.
There’s only 5% chance that you’re ever going to give your first kiss to the right person that will love you forever, you think there will be a higher chance that you will be giving your first time to the right person??
In fact, you don’t even have the 5% chance that the person you lose your first time to is ever going to be the one, you took the wrong step in your relationship, any relationships besides marriage that have sex involved just screws your it up. It makes the relationship to be all about lust and there goes the chance of ever understanding the one you’re interested in properly.
What you should do instead..
The 1 and only thing : Spend time with you friends
While it is hard to get by the day that you feel really lonely, since you probably won’t be doing anything mentioned above now. What can be better to have a bunch of friends reminding you that you should be patient to wait for The ONE and just enjoy your single hood while you still can?? Just spend the day doing something fun together, ask them out!! Time will pass really fast, the next thing you know, it’s February 15!!
Though you must be careful who you ask, if your friends involve the opposite gender, you better be careful, you don’t want to give the wrong signal.
